| Jen, like many
celebrities with great hair, was a hair
model for a major beauty brand. Above
you can see a nice picture of Jennifer
Aniston in a print ad from the 1990s when
she was a spokesmodel for L'Oreal Paris
and its Elnett hairspray.
That ad is in
Spanish, and she also appeared on a TV ad
in England. Her hair product advertising
resume includes these credits:
- 1997: TV commercial for L'Oreal
Elvive shampoo
- 1998: TV commercial for L'Oreal
Elnett hairspray
Many stars do
foreign ads, but what about America? Did
her commercials appear on US networks in
the 90s? And why aren't they on TV
nowadays?
Her talent agent
really should work harder at getting
Jennifer contracts as a hair model.
Various other stars today have hair
modeling contracts, but none of them have
hair as popular as Jen's.
She isn't too old.
She looks young and is young. And there
are older stars who do ads for L'Oreal,
including Andie MacDowell and Heather
Locklear. So why is Jennifer getting left
out? It's not right.
Jen's latest
modeling contract is for bottled water.
Glaceau smartwater. Fine.

Water is great, but,
seriously, she's the top hair model for
hairstyles, so why not make her the top
hair model for hair stuff---shampoo,
conditioner, hairspray--anything
to do with hair. That makes the most
sense. (By the hair, her hair looks nice
in the water ad.)

Look at the videos
below and see if you don't agree that a
huge lucrative opportunity (of at least $1m/yr)
is now being missed by Jennifer not
showing off her hair and hair products on
U.S. television every week.
Memo to L'Oreal:
Please renew Jennifer's contract tout de
suite.
