celebrity hairstyles magazine, featured
Jennifer Aniston wearing The Rachel
Hairstyle for its summer 1996 issue. Jen
graced the cover with the most attractive
and flattering hair style. It's not known
if she was photographed like this for the
hair magazine cover, or if it's a file
photo.
But it's quite
possibly the best portrait ever taken of
"Rachel Green" with The Rachel
Haircut. It looks like a studio shot
following expert styling of her hair and
makeup.
Those piecy
highlighted wispy layers still rock, don't
they? Knockout hairstyle, no question.
Feel free to print
it out if you're headed to a hair salon.
It should be big enough to look good as a
5x7 printout.
Look at a few other
celebrity hairstyles on the cover with
Jennifer. Notice how the haircuts of
Heather Locklear, Tiffani Amber Thiessen,
and Crystal Bernardo all share some of
the same hair design elements as The
Rachel.
They aren't exact
copies, but you can guess their
hairstylists were very familiar with the
most famous hairstyle (the cover is for
1996 and the Rachel was from 1995); and
incorporated some of the layering
technique into them, too.
Jen's hair style was
so influential, you couldn't have been
surprised to see "knock-offs"
appearing all over the place. Those
Hollywood ladies on the cover have nice
styles, but the girl with the hottest
hairdo--the original Rachel--is Jennifer
Aniston.
